Beautiful family portrait - you obviously spent a lot of time on this - but the drawing itself has a timeless quality to it. Great work!

Hahahaa, I like to think of those projects as puzzles. It helps! ~and when you get done, it's like...mkay, now what do I do?

Yeah!...admittedly it was quite a learning curve (I learnt I'm not very patient with grass... lol)

Stuff like that is just so...DAUNTING. It's like the architecture of some inebriated builders and sometimes keeping track of the shadows alone is just crazy. But you know what, once I get ..um well, 'zenned' with it it all starts to flow. I don't know what else to call it. When it starts to work it is really cool.
And that's why it's worth it. In a week, take another look. You did that. You nailed it.
Congratulations :D

Sooo awesome Dree!! I love the whole pic but you know me i like to mention my favorite parts of things. The boy in front? Awesome hair. Her sweater and skirt..great texture. The grass..im gonna use that in something. I like the blade curled over by her hand and the shadow of the two over her wrist. Yeah, i look at stuff really close with these glasses. :eyepopping:
