The only problem I have with this picture is that its not hanging on MY wall, lol. This is one of the best drawings of Hank as I have ever seen, you have reproduced that photograph exsquisetly, regardless of what you say about his jackey. Bravo.
man this is fantastic. hank was the man. these days i tend to listen to indie/alternative rock,...but i always thought that there was a certain something about hank's music,...a certain spirit maybe,...that it had in common with the indie rockers of today. i mean,...hank might've fit right in with the replacements. heh. though they would've stayed entirely too drunk and fought all the time. well,...more than they already did. but before i go off on a long tangent of blah blah blah, let me tell you how good this is. and it IS very good. i don't know what you mean by 'gave up on the jacket'. it looks excellent to me. this is an iconic photo of an icon, and you certainly did it justice. my mom would love this. i know i do.
so maybe next time i'll tell you about the time i was doing jury duty and i was in the study of one of the judges and i noticed on his wall a photo of a shirtless hank in handcuffs with this wild look in his eyes and,... well,...like i said,...maybe next time.
